Question by dankmaster24: Can I take a machete home from costa rica in a checked bag?
I wan to buy a machete in costa rica, but I dont know how I can get it home. Is it legal to take big-ass knives home on a plane in a checked bag? Should I mail it, instead?

the metal detectors would pick it up in the airport. I would mail it, but I don’t know if that is legal either
