DayStar Properties Launches Their Costa Rica Vacation Rental Website for Bahia Azul

Woodland Hills, CA (PRWEB) May 29, 2007

DayStar Properties, the leading beachfront condo developer in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica, recently launched a new informational website for its brand new beachfront condominium community – Bahia Azul. The site, http://www.bahia-azul.com, offers detailed property information, local and national maps, descriptions of hospitality services and tourism information on Costa Rica.

A beachfront community of 30 two-bedroom condominiums, Bahia Azul offers deluxe vacation rentals with the first-class services one would expect of a luxury hotel. The new website is intended to promote these deluxe condo rentals as an alternative to hotels, which have long been the traditional lodging option in Jaco, Costa Rica’s most popular beach town.

“The website will be a great tool for getting the word out that the luxury condo rental is the new trend for high-end accommodation in Jaco and throughout Costa Rica,” said Gretchen Gary, marketing manager with DayStar Properties. “You really do get much more for your money when you rent a DayStar condo rather than a hotel room, including amenities like fully equipped kitchens, in-unit washers and dyers, and multiple ocean-view balconies. Top it off with separate bedrooms and large shared spaces, and you just can’t beat the value.”

DayStar Properties is also excited at the prospect of drawing more luxury-minded travelers to Costa Rica, which is currently experiencing a nationwide renaissance of its tourism infrastructure and accommodation standards. Through online resources like http://www.bahia-azul.com, the luxury travel circuit can learn more about the evolution of places like Jaco Beach, which was just nominated as Central & Latin America’s Leading Beach by the World Travel Awards 2007.

About DayStar Properties:

DayStar Properties, http://www.daystar-properties.com, manages three near-to-complete luxury condominium communities – Bahia Azul, La Paloma Blanca and Bahia Encantada – in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. Beyond its property management division, the company is one of the largest condo developers on the central Pacific coast with seven existing projects on the Jaco beachfront.

Question by Ben: Where is a good place to start looking for rental property in costa rica?
I want to find a rental property in Costa Rica near to a surf beach for next june-july. I was wondering if anyone had done anything similar and could give me a few pointers on where to start. I am looking for a place for 8-10 people that wouldn’t mind renting to 20 year old guys. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try reading the internet newspapers in ENglish, from Costa Rica.

amcostarica.com
theticotimes.net

Both run ads for rentals. If you can read Spanish try the local spanish papers on the internet.

Most ads now carry website contacts or phone numbers.

I see no reason to mention that the possible tenants are a mob of 20 year old drunken, drug crazed, party monsters intent on rape and mayhem who may or may not make it into the surf.

DayStar Properties Offers Costa Rica Tourism Information on Its New Vacation Rental Website for La Paloma Blanca

Multiple swimming pools front the ocean.

Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) September 2, 2007

As Costa Rica’s tourism industry continues to expand and change, it’s often difficult for discerning travelers to determine where the quality services are. Offering specialized information for luxury-minded travelers, DayStar Properties, the leading beachfront condo developer in Jaco, Costa Rica, offers more than just property details about La Paloma Blanca on its recently launched vacation rental website, http://www.lapaloma-blanca.com.

An informational site launched to promote DayStar’s newest luxury condo community on the Jaco beachfront – La Paloma Blanca, the site also features valuable travel information, local and national maps and details on the best quality tours in the area.

One of the first fully functioning condo hotels in Jaco Beach, La Paloma Blanca joins its sister property, Bahia Azul in setting the trend for the new luxury accommodation standard in Jaco and throughout Costa Rica.

“The website will reinforce the message that condo hotels are quickly becoming the preferred lodging venues for discerning travelers visiting Jaco as well as many other beach destinations in Costa Rica,” said Gretchen Gary, marketing manager with DayStar Properties. “When you consider the added value of having separate bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, in-unit laundry rooms and multiple terraces or balconies, condo rentals are the obvious choice over standard hotel rooms.”

A serene ocean-front community, La Paloma Blanca offers 36 two- and three-bedroom condo rentals on the pristine south end of Jaco Beach. The development’s unique low-impact construction and multiple seaside swimming pools create a tropical oasis that is quite different from the tower condominium projects planned for other sites on the Jaco beachfront. La Paloma Blanca manages to offer modern luxury accommodation without sacrificing the sense of finding something special amid the considerable development of Jaco Beach.

With two fully functioning properties on the beachfront, DayStar Properties leads the rising condo hotel trend in Jaco Beach. Through online resources like http://www.lapaloma-blanca.com , the luxury travel circuit can learn more about rising accommodation standards and quality tourism services on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast.

Villas Tranquilas A Costa Rica Vacation Rental Gives Back to Local Manuel Antonio/Quepos Sustainable Development Community this Fall

Villas Tranquilas donates a portion of sales to save endangered squirrel monkey

Livingston, MT (PRWEB) September 10, 2009

As Congress turns their attention away from Mr. Obama’s environmental economic initiatives toward healthcare, one small business remains committed to the initiatives’ ideals and jump starts their mission toward environmental sustainability this fall. Villas Tranquilas, a Costa Rica Vacation Rental in Quepos/Manuel Antonio, joins a growing group of Central Pacific businesses and Costa Rica Hotels dedicated to sustainable Costa Rican Tourism.

Spearheaded in 2001 by local business owners to protect the endangered Mono Titi (squirrel) monkey, the Titi Conservation Alliance focuses conservation efforts on the Rio Naranjo Biological Corridor surrounding internationally famous Manuel Antonio National Park. The Rio Naranjo Biological Corridor’s two known locations for Mono Titi monkeys are separated by development making it extremely difficult for populations to thrive.

Villas Tranquilas sponsorship of the Titi Conservation Alliance gives tourists searching for Costa Rica vacations special insight into such local conservation issues. By educating tourists on local sustainable causes, it raises awareness about Costa Rica’s fragile Manuel Antonio National Park ecosystem and, by extension, the endangered Mono Titi Monkey.

Partnering with local Titi Alliance members, Villas Tranquilas strengthens a commitment to support business-to-business partnerships but also publicly recognizes their own charter to achieve sustainable development status through Costa Rica’s Certification of Sustainability. Villas Tranquilas begins the process of certification this fall with Titi Conservation Alliance guidance.

Through Villas Tranquilas guest donations, a portion of all proceeds will go directly to local education, reforestation, and conservation projects that impact the Manuel Antonio and Quepos Communities. Titi Conservation also offers opportunities for local businesses to help with reforestation of the Rio Naranjo Biological Corridor thus, off-setting carbon emissions and reducing each business’s carbon footprint.

Villas Tranquilas: a six acre rainforest retreat offers Costa Rica accommodations and vacation packages for travel to Manuel Antonio/Quepos Costa Rica.

San Jose, Costa Rica (PRWEB) February 8, 2007

A recent survey conducted by Costa Rican Vacations revealed that more than eighty percent of their clients visit Costa Rica to get closer to nature and appreciate pura vida. “Pura Vida” is Costa Rica’s country motto, meaning pure life. The growing vacation market in Costa Rica encourages ecotourism and enables tourists to encounter wildlife in its natural habitat for a truly unique, environmentally-friendly travel experience.

Ecotourism, which actually means ecological tourism, was developed in the 1980′s and has grown in popularity since the United Nations celebrated the “International Year of Ecotourism” in 2002. The International Ecotourism Society formally defines ecotourism as “responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people.” Ecotourism gives travelers the opportunity to appreciate exotic wildlife found in various ecosystems without disrupting the balance of nature. Such tourism increases international understanding of different cultures and countries while building the economy of those nations. At the Third International Conference of Ecotourism in November, 2006, Costa Rica was recognized as one of the world leaders in ecotourism.

The name Costa Rica means “rich coast” and the country lives up to its title. There are over 850 species of birds, 13,000 plant species, 209 mammal species, 220 reptile species, 163 reptile species and 365,000 arthropod species found in Costa Rica today. Travelers can explore wetlands, aquatic habitats, dry forests, rain forests, mangroves and mountains to see monkeys, crocodiles and toucans up close. A Costa Rica vacation rental nestled in any of these beautiful locations can be easily found by browsing online. Casey Halloran of Costa Rican Vacations states, “We have a full website with great photographs of Costa Rica. We have images of all our hotel partners and tours. We continue to improve our customer satisfaction by offering top quality vacations. Our highly trained team of travel experts are here in Costa Rica to help you plan your adventure. We arrange your perfect Costa Rica travel experience and tailor every vacation package to fit you like a fine suit. We even meet you at the airport and are on call during your stay to deliver first class service. Our goal is to provide you a comfortable and memorable vacation in this paradise we call home.”

Costa Rica is home to 26 national parks and 8 natural reserves. When all national parks, wildlife refuges, biological reserves, forest reserves and other protected areas are considered, more than 27 percent of Costa Rica’s natural habitat is protected by the government. Because there is such a wonderful opportunity to appreciate nature in its raw form in Costa Rica, the State Department reports that the number of tourists visiting has increased by at least 6 percent annually over the past several years. Despite an increasing number of visitors to the country each year, Costa Rica travel remains environmentally sensitive. Martha Honey, a former resident of Costa Rica and the author of Ecotourism and Sustainable Development: Who Owns Paradise, says that, “They do ecotourism very well in Costa Rica.”

Costa Rica ecotourism vacations are the perfect choice for many Americans looking to escape the harried pace of everyday life and feel the relaxing pleasure of coastal paradise. Whether savvy travelers are looking for the adventure of a lifetime or a romantic Costa Rica honeymoon, the wonder of nature, scintillating culture and lovely tropical beaches are delightful. More than one million Americans are expected to visit Costa Rica next year because it is highly regarded, attainable and rewarding.

Leisure is only a few mouse clicks away for hard-working vacationers who want treat themselves to an indulgent vacation in enchanting Costa Rica. To join the eighty percent of people looking to experience nature up close, go online to www.vacationscostarica.com to plan a luxurious, customized Costa Rican vacation today.

Planning a Tropical vacation full of lush jungles, secluded beaches, and friendly people but not too expensive? Costa Rica is the place to go! But where do you stay, a resort or a private villa? Do you want long lines, crowded pools, kids running up and down the corridors? I think not.

Selecting the best Costa Rica vacation rental can be the difference between a great vacation and one where you feel like you are ‘doing without’.

Many vacationers consider the Costa Rica vacation rental as ‘just somewhere to stay’ since most of your time will be spent in or on the water, or enjoying local attractions. Don’t make that mistake. There is no reason to settle for less when, with a little planning, you can find a great Costa Rica vacation rental that you’ll enjoy as much or more than the other parts of your vacation.

Remember, your vacation home is where you’ll be sleeping, waking up, having many of your meals, and resting.

If it rains or is unseasonably hot outside, you may end up stretched out reading a book to while away the day or wanting to watch one of your favorite movies on the DVD – assuming there is a comfortable sofa. And when you meet new friends, you’ll want someplace nice for entertaining. Shouldn’t your vacation rental be a pleasant get-away with the amenities that make vacations a real treat? “A home away from home”

Here are 10 tips for selecting the perfect Costa Rica vacation rental:

1. The single most important factor is whether or not you can “see” actual recent photos of the interior and exterior of the vacation rental. It’s one thing to read a great description – and some of them are quite ‘complimentary’ (sometimes overly so) – but you need to see what you are getting.

With the Internet, a website is the quickest most convenient way for you to get information on prospective Costa Rica vacation rentals. If there are no pictures, you’ll know right away to keep looking. Brochures, books and guides are nice, but may have out-dated information.

2. List the amenities that are important to you, the ones without which you will feel incomplete. Next, jot down those that are nice to have, but not deal-breakers if not available.

With these lists as a guide, you’ll be able to quickly eliminate those rentals that won’t meet your needs. Your list might include proximity to the water, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, type kitchen (full versus fridge and microwave), outdoor amenities such as decks and BBQ grills, ocean views, private pools, outdoor eating areas, tennis courts and other items important to you.

On your secondary list, you might have things like a hammock for lazing about, or pool waterfall for the relaxing sounds. Exterior stereo speakers, to enjoy your favorite music around the pool. Ice makers to mix your favorite drinks, especially in the heat of the day.

3. List the activities that you want to be able to enjoy while on vacation. A morning activity like scuba diving, snorkeling or canopy tour then coming back to the villa to relax may be a high priority for you.

You also need to consider how close the vacation rental is to the airport.  It is very important to know how far the rental is from your arrival airport. Some rentals can take a half a day’s drive and after your flight even an hour’s drive can seem an eternity. Your travel time back to the airport at departure can also frustrate your entire vacation. Enjoying your last morning of your vacation by a private pool instead of traveling for hours to the airport can be very important to you. For Costa Rica vacation rentals that are only 20 minutes from the Liberia International airport visit http://www.costarica-vacation-getaway.com. This will help you in selecting a general location.

You also need to consider how close you want your vacation rental to be to the attractions.

Some people feel that a great vacation is being able to walk or bicycle everywhere. Others don’t mind a short drive, and still others think nothing of getting on a freeway to enjoy attractions.

If you prefer a vacation without the hassles of traffic, parking problems, crowds and long lines, select a villa located in the quaint waterfront town of Playa Panama, Costa Rica. Visit http://www.costarica-vacation-getaway.com to learn more.

4. Identify your first, second and third choice of dates for renting the villa.
With several dates, you’ll save time when making arrangements.

If you find a villa that you really want and you have some flexibility in scheduling, having alternate dates ready allows you to book right then, saving yourself the time and hassle of having to re-check everyone’s schedule and call back – and risking losing those dates in the interim.

5. Call the telephone numbers for the vacation rentals that seem to meet your needs and speak directly with either the owners or the person who is handling the property.

Be prepared with a list of questions. This allows you to compare apples to apples, and keeps you from forgetting something important during the conversation.

It also gives you a feel for the person who will be your contact should you rent the villa and then encounter a problem. If you don’t get a warm, friendly welcome to your inquiries, don’t expect anything different when you have a problem.

6. Ask what amenities are included.
You may learn of something that’s not on your list but is perfect for your plans.

Does the rental have maid service? Last thing you want to do is make the beds or clean the dishes, even if there is a dishwasher.

Does the rental have a washer and dryer? If so, you will not have to take as many cloths with you. Will the maid wash your cloths before your departure? Coming home with a suitcase full of clean cloths is certainly a benefit.

Other things to consider: Is there a welcome basket? Will the owner have essential items in the refrigerator for you, before your arrival? Can you make arrangements for tours? Are there plates, utensils, pots, pans and other essentials for eating and meal preparation – or will you have to bring your own?

Does the rental have air condition or do you have to depend on the winds to comfort you?

7. Inquire about restaurants, events and activities and other forms of local entertainment that are close by. Here’s where your list of preferred activities comes in handy. You should be able to find links to local attractions, calendars and restaurants on the website of your Costa Rica vacation rental.

8. Are the owners local or do they have a management team helping 24/7?
Owners are a wealth of information about the area and can give you tips on great out-of-the-way places that aren’t in the guidebooks. They also care about your enjoyment and comfort while at their villa.

This can make a huge difference; especially should something need immediate attention in the villa. There’s nothing worse than calling the rental company about a stopped-up toilet and getting somebody’s bored teenager who’s manning the phones for the summer.

9. How long has the owner been renting vacation rentals?
If the owner has worked with rental properties, they know what tenants expect and how to get things done.

If this is a new venture, beware. The owner may be in it for “fun” and have no idea how to prepare the villa so that you can have a great vacation.

10. And last, when you look at the pictures, can you see yourself having a great time there?

If the pictures make you want to go right now, and the answers to the questions above meet your satisfaction, you’ve found yourself a great Costa Rica vacation rental!

Plenty of vacationers these days prefer rentals like nosara vacation rental to a typical hotel. It is certainly interesting to know why people do so. Apart from value for money, vacation rentals probably offer something intangible that hotels do not.

About Vacation Rental

Simply put, vacation rental refers to renting out a furnished house or an apartment for travelers who are out on a vacation for a short duration. Here is an important point to remember though. A vacation rental is not to be confused with timeshare. Timeshares are ownership properties, usually resort condominiums where multiple parties have rights to use the property. Then again, a timeshare owner can rent out his allotted duration as vacation rental.

What Makes Vacation Rentals Click

People find furnished accommodations like nosara vacation rental offering great value for money. You have more room, more amenities and an ambience that beats anything that even the best hotels offer. In fact, vacation rentals have always been very popular in Europe and now people in the US seem to have caught fancy too. Tourists have fully equipped kitchens that allow them to cook their own meals, a great facility that saves money as compared to expensive restaurants. In addition, vacation rentals provide larger living spaces allowing tourists to travel in groups thus saving on lodging costs. However, you have some cons too. Vacation rentals are self-service accommodations. Unlike in hotels, you have no room service, no daily room cleaning service and no caretakers. Yet the benefits outweigh the trade offs.  If you have a look at what nosara vacation rental offers you will understand why.  For example, Nosara Vacation Rentals can offer you a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, a large living room, more than one bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a washer cum drier and an outdoor portico with a garden — all your own. Compare these amenities with what even a good hotel offers. You do have a bedroom, but only with a mini-kitchen equipped with just a refrigerator and a coffee maker. You also have a television and access to the hotel’s swimming pool and fitness center. Just contrast the prices. For a fixed duration, the cost per head in a vacation rental can very well be one third of what a hotel charges. It could be even less. Again, cost is not the only factor. Vacation rentals offer certain intangible benefits. You have more space, more privacy, convenient locations and more comforts that defy valuations. The choices for today’s traveler are enormous. You have vacation rentals suiting all budgets. From studio apartments to large expensive villas at exotic locations, the choices are just numerous.

The growth in vacation rentals has been phenomenal. Consumers have now become choosy and they know what to look for. With the needs of travelers diversifying, vacation rental business is maturing too. A close look at nosara vacation rental will show how villa rentals have worked hard to satisfy the discerning traveler. Whether you are travelling in groups, as a family or with a partner, self-catering rentals like costa rica nosara vacation rental are here to stay. The likes of Nosara vacation rental have created a niche that will keep on evolving to provide better quality stays and better value for money for the traveler who is looking for something different from the staid run of the mill hotel.

Nosara, Costa Rica with three air-conditioned bedrooms, a large kitchen, and a seven-foot eat-in island and a private pool is an ideal vacation rental amidst acres of jungles. To know more about a Nosara vacation rental visit the given link
