The Dhaka-Kolkata Maitree Express commenced its services from the West Bengal capital Kolkatta on 14 April and got held for few minutes in Nadia region. This incident took place because some citizens who sat on its railway path challenging rehabilitation of Bangladesh’s people in exile. The train was held near Aranghata in the Ranaghat.
