Tips to Lighten Airline Luggage and Avoid Hefty Fees and Sprained Backs

Sitting on your suitcase may close it, but it probably will result in a “Heavy Bag” orange tag and an overweight charge at the airport counter. So before you travel, try these tips for reducing the weight of your check-in luggage. By watching what you pack, you reduce your chance of overweight charges, you increase the capacity for more souvenirs to bring home, and in the best case scenario, you can pack all your stuff into your carry-on and avoid airline charges for checked baggage. Pack light and have more fun.
